I am excited to welcome you to our school community! As your PROUD principal, my goal is to create a nurturing and inspiring environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to fostering a love of learning, creativity, and respect for all.

With over 20 years of experience in education, my journey includes 13 years as a teacher, 4 years as an instructional coach, and 5 years as an assistant principal.  My educational background includes earning a bachelor’s degree from Fort Valley State University, a master’s degree from Central Michigan University, a specialist degree from Argosy University, and a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education. 

Whether you are a returning member of our school family or joining us for the first time, know that we are here to support you every step of the way. Together, we will continue to elevate academic excellence at Norton Elementary so that every student experiences growth, success, and positive memories.
