GCPS Pre-K Program at Norton ES
For the 2026-27 school year, Gwinnett County Public Schools will continue its free Pre-K program in eight elementary schools, one of which is Norton!
Digital Learning Day
Friday, March 13, is a Digital Learning Day (DLD) for all students. On scheduled Digital Learning Days, students access lessons in Google Classroom through their Learning Space but may not have virtual class time with their teachers.
To ensure that students have a nutritious meal to fuel their learning, our bus drivers will be on the road and at every bus stop to deliver meals prepared by the School Nutrition Program staff. Families should expect buses to run their routes from approximately 10:45 a.m. to noon, beginning at the first stops on the route. These delivered meals are provided at no cost to families and are provided to anyone 18 years old and under.
EEE: Unlocking the Future: Supporting Student Success
We invite all families to join our March EEE Session featuring The Office of Accountability and Assessment, The Office of Counseling, College & Career Services, the Office of Family Engagement, and more on March 24, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM via Microsoft TEAMS.
Join us for "Unlocking the Future: Supporting Student Success.” During this virtual evening families will receive essential resources and strategies to support their child for the upcoming Georgia Milestones Assessment, hear directly from the Office of Counseling, College, and Career on how to best support their child's academic journey, gain insights into various programs designed to maximize student performance, and provide input for the District Family and Community Engagement Plan. We look forward to seeing you there and working together to unlock the future for our students!

Our school will be hosting Family Bingo Night on March 17th from 5:30–6:30 PM!
Join us for an exciting evening filled with laughter, prizes, and a festive St. Patrick’s Day twist. Families will receive a Lucky Adventure Card with fun mini‑missions—like finding hidden clovers, taking photos in our Lucky Booth, and completing quick challenges during bingo rounds. Each completed challenge earns a sticker, and every sticker becomes an entry into our raffle drawing at the end of the night.
It’s a great chance to connect with other families, cheer each other on, and make wonderful memories together.
We hope you’ll join us for this magical evening of Bingo and family fun!

Come out and support our school at the next Chick-fil-A Spirit Night on Monday, March 16th, from 5-8 p.m. at Chick-fil-A on Centerville Highway.
Even if you are only able to place an order to go while in the drive-thru or for pick-up through your mobile app, you can still support our school by simply clicking "Yes" on the question that asks if you want to support Beta Club Norton ES (see example photo) or letting the drive-thru attendant know that you are supporting the Norton Spirit Night.
