Skate Night at Sparkles
We invite you and your family to join us on February 5th from 5:00pm-7:30pm for an evening of fun and excitement at Sparkles Family Fun Center (1104 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville). Skating and Skate Rental will cost $8.00 per person. All Norton students and families are welcome.
Digital Learning Day
Friday, February 6th is a Digital Learning Day (DLD) for all students. On scheduled Digital Learning Days, students access lessons in Google Classroom through their Learning Space but may not have virtual class time with their teachers.
To ensure that students have a nutritious meal to fuel their learning, our bus drivers will be on the road and at every bus stop to deliver meals prepared by the School Nutrition Program staff.
Families should expect buses to run their routes from approximately 10:45 a.m. to noon, beginning at the first stops on the route. These delivered meals are provided at no cost to families and are provided to anyone 18 years old and under.
GMAS Interactive Workshop
Help your child be test ready by attending the GMAS Workshop! Test strategies and tips will be discussed at the GMAS Interactive Workshop on February 10th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Cafeteria. Families of 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders are invited attend to practice in preparation of the April tests. Please RSVP via ParentSquare if you plan to attend so we can plan accordingly. See you there!
Mid-Winter Break
GCPS students will be on break from Thursday, February 12, through Monday, February 16. Students and staff return to learning on Tuesday, February 17. Note that GCPS does not offer meal service on student holidays.
Math & Science Night
Join us on Thursday, February 19 from 5:30pm-6:30pm to test your Mad-th Scientist Skills, conduct experiments, play games, win prizes, and go home with your own Mad-th Scientist Recipe Cards! We hope to see you there!

Each year, to help improve our schools, Gwinnett County Public Schools collects feedback from families, students, and staff members about their school experiences. This year, the school district is giving Educational Effectiveness Surveys to gather feedback on nine key characteristics of high-performing schools. GCPS staff can participate from February 2–27.

Norton's Cheer Team is excited to announce that they are selling Teddy Grams for Valentine's Day! Each Teddy Gram will come with a teddy bear, a bag of candy, and a card from our cheerleaders!
