We will be open for New Student Registration on July 31st from 8:00am-11:00am.
Also on July 31st, we will be hosting Open House where students can meet their teachers from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Bring it to Open House so we can attach their transportation tag early and ensure a smooth first day dismissal.

GCPS Pre-K Program at Norton ES
For the 2026-27 school year, Gwinnett County Public Schools will continue its free Pre-K program in eight elementary schools, one of which is Norton!
First Day of School 2026-2027
The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year will be Wednesday, August 5th. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back for another great year of learning!

This year you will not need to worry with school supplies, Norton Elementary has you covered. Thanks to Title I funding, we will provide school supplies for all students in our elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year. Parents will only need to purchase a book bag and a few optional items.
